Writer's Markets

In the following list, the sites or platforms I have personally used are indicated with a *. The sites or platforms I have not personally used have been researched to determine whether they are legitimate or not, and if they were found to be scams, they are not listed here.

With that said, for legal purposes, I am not responsible for your use of any of the sites or platforms listed below. In other words, if a company does not pay you for any reason, or using the site blows up your computer, you cannot sue me.

Constant Content - This is my main source of income from article writing since I came out of retirement. I can choose my own topics or write requested content. I can also set my own prices. All submitted content is edited. Many writers complain about how picky the editors are, but I've never had any major issues with them - and I am actually quite comforted to know that my content is being looked at carefully before it is made available for sale. Highly recommended.

Blogmutt - This site has moderately good pay, but you cannot chose your own topics. You can however choose which requests you will submit content for.

* iWriter - It has been years since I used this site. The pay is incredibly low - but you do get paid. This is a great place to get started if you are new to freelance writing. However, as your skill improves and you get to know the business a bit better, you will want to start using other resources to sell your writing.

Kindle - I love Kindle. This is not for articles, but for books - or rather ebooks. Have you ever dreamed of being a published author? Here is your chance! You can write full length books or short reads in any genre.

I have not used the following sites - primarily due to lack of time - but I am systematically trying each one out, and will move it to the top of this page as I am able to offer additional information.

This list is far from complete. I am constantly adding to it as time allows.
